Time is running out to meet the big guys... CORKMEET's Ask the Buyer event is almost full. Sean Gallagher, Star of RTE’s Dragons Den, has today been announced as the keynote speaker at this year’s CORKMEET 2010. Gallagher will join George Hook, who will act as MC for the Conference and is due to give a “motivational” opening address to the audience of over 400 businesses.
Other speakers announced today include Gerard Tannam, an entrepreneur and brand expert, who will deliver an address on how businesses can connect more meaningfully and productively with their customers through branding. Tannam speaks regularly at the Smurfit School of Business at UCD, is a Mentor with Enterprise Ireland and is the resident expert on branding in DCU’s Invent, the University’s state of the art Innovation and Enterprise Centre.
Delegate case studies announced today include Sheila Gilroy Collins, Marketing Manager at Donegal Creameries who will speak to the audience about how the company started and how they successfully entered the UK and French markets. Another case study speaker is Paul Fitzgerald, MD of Park Magic in Cork, who will speak about how he broke into the US market with his innovative parking payment system.

A huge number of companies from Cork and beyond have already registered for CORKMEET. Participation figures are up 20% on last year's event.
CORKMEET 2010 annouces an 'International Village' at this year's event. This is where participants can make contact with embassies, chambers of commerce and other international organisations.
